Job Summary

We are looking for friendly, dependable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Cashiers. Cashiers are responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting guests with admissions, equipment rentals, merchandise sales, food purchases, and general park information. No prior experience is required—we provide training.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Process admissions, rentals, retail purchases, and food orders accurately
• Answer customer questions regarding pricing, packages, park rules, and events
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and refer issues to management when needed
• Promote memberships, specials, and park offerings when appropriate

Cash Handling & Point of Sale

• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately
• Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions
• Balance cash drawer and follow all cash handling procedures
• Verify waivers, memberships, and other required documentation when applicable
• Maintain accurate transaction records

Park Operations & Team Support

• Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Restock retail merchandise, snacks, and beverages as needed
• Work closely with Rentals, Referees, and Managers to ensure a smooth guest experience
• Assist with general park duties as assigned
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude with guests and coworkers

Qualifications

Required

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Basic math and cash handling abilities
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using computers and point-of-sale systems

Preferred (Not Required)

• Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience
• Interest in paintball, airsoft, or outdoor recreation

Work Environment

• Indoor and outdoor work environment depending on assigned station
• Fast-paced atmosphere with frequent customer interaction
• Weekend and holiday availability required

Schedule & Availability

• Part-time, non-exempt hourly position
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal hours
• Shifts may vary based on park bookings and events
• Meal and rest breaks provided in accordance with California labor laws

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as scanning items, handling cash, and operating a computer

Age Requirements

• Must meet minimum age requirements under California labor laws
• Employees under 18 must have a valid California work permit on file
